Three tablet-based media ventures preparing for take-off [TheCutline]

As the old journalism adage goes: two's a coincidence, three's a
trend, and three marks the number of forthcoming editorial launches
tailored specifically for owners of the iPad and other mobile devices.
At least one, Nomad Editions, a cluster of mini-magazines designed for
tablets and smart phones, is scheduled to go live next week.
