AFTER passing the milestone of his 100th tweet on the weekend, Rupert
Murdoch has raced to more than 160,000 followers on the social media
network Twitter since he created his account (@rupertmurdoch) at
6.30pm on New Year's Eve. Granted, it's still a modest audience
compared with the one million followers actor Charlie Sheen added in
just 25 hours and 17 minutes last year when he live-tweeted his mental
meltdown, setting a Guinness World Record. "But the people who follow
(Murdoch) include some of the other most influential people on
Twitter," points out Nick Holmes a Court, founder of social media
